Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a 2nd shift Stacker Operator at our Lebanon, TN corrugated sheet feeder plant. You will operate automated stacker equipment, monitor control systems, and work to meet production and safety targets.

Flexible shifts and overtime are part of the role, with orientation on 1st shift. The position requires safety-conscious, team-oriented individuals capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and working in a high-volume industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated stacker equipment to defined standards and product specification targets.
• Monitor and/or enter data into computer control systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production.
• Perform basic asset care duties including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area.
• Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and wear required safety equipment.
• Lift up to 40 pounds, walk, climb, stoop, stand, push/pull up to 12 hours in a loud industrial setting.

Georgia-Pacific is looking for a 2nd shift Stacker Operators for our Lebanon, TN corrugated sheet feeder plant!

Salary

• $21.75 per hour + $1.00 after 90-day probationary period
• 2nd shift differential is $2.25 per hour
• You will have the ability to increase your compensation based on skills and contribution to the overall performance of the plant.

Shift

• Only candidates who are flexible to be assigned to work any shift will be considered
• Candidates must be flexible and available to work first, second, or third shift as needed. This will include overtime, holidays, and weekends.
• Currently hiring for 2nd shift.
• Orientation will be on 1st shift (8:00am-4:00pm), and you will be assigned your permanent 2nd shift after your orientation.
• Lebanon operates on a points-based attendance program.

Shift Hours:

• 1st shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am-2:00pm; weekends and overtime as needed
• 2nd shift: Monday - Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm; weekends and overtime as needed
• 3rd shift: Monday - Friday 10:00pm-6:00am; weekends and overtime as needed

This role is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit team dedicated to safety at our Lebanon, TN sheet feeder plant! This position creates value by safely assisting with the production of corrugated sheets to be made into printed boxes for our valued customers. • Perform tasks such as lifting up to 40 pounds, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day, in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, or military environment OR completion of post high school education in a manufacturing/industrial centered program

• Previous experience working in a corrugated box plant
