Job summary

DRIV-LOK in Sycamore, IL is hiring for a 2nd Shift Sorting - Tender role. This full‑time position requires hand sorting parts, learning measurement tools, and keeping accurate records as products move through electronic sorters. You’ll operate and maintain sorting equipment, read shop drawings, and complete paperwork.

Fork truck license is required (training provided). High school diploma or equivalent and basic math skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Read, write and simple shop mathematics.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, process sheets, and safety/operating instructions.
• Learn to operate computer systems used at Driv-Lok.

Responsibilities

• Hand sort parts per instructions.
• Learn to use measuring instruments and perform visual inspection.
• Record and identify counts; restock using a lift truck if needed.
• Run test samples for inspection verification and complete paperwork.
• Produce standard stock bar code labels and Driv-Lok labels.
• Interpret Driv-Lok drawings or shop orders for conformance.
• Operate and maintain electronic sorters, laser sorter, and LED inspection systems.
• Keep accurate records for the assigned area.
