Job summary

Amcor is seeking a General Technician on 2nd shift (3pm–11pm) to support Shipping & Receiving operations. You will load/unload using forklifts, prepare pallets for shipment, and ensure accurate labeling and documentation for customer deliveries.

The role requires adherence to safety standards, room cleanliness, and OHSE compliance across the plant. Prior forklift certification and basic math skills are needed to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years related production experience preferred.
• Must have good mechanical ability and attention to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload goods using lift and clamp trucks.
• Prepare pallets and loads for storage or shipment with proper labeling and documentation.
• Ensure loads are strapped, braced, or padded to prevent shifting during transport.
• Set up rolls for press operations and maintain OHSE compliance at all times.
• Operate forklift safely and maintain certification; complete daily inspection and paperwork.
