Daifuku Automotive America Corporation seeks a Shipping and Inventory Clerk for the 2nd shift in Reynoldsburg, OH. Responsibilities include shipping/receiving, inventory control, and packaging for dispatch, with safety and accuracy as priorities.

Qualifications emphasize high school diploma or equivalent, basic math and computer skills (Excel), blueprint literacy, and ability to lift 25–50 lbs. Experience with SAP and forklifts is a plus; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing experience is highly preferred; technical or vocational education/training related to listed skills is desirable.
• Must have basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel) and be able to read blueprints.
• Must have basic measurement and math skills; knowledge of measuring instruments and hand tools.
• Forklifts and overhead crane experience preferred (in-house training available).
• SAP experience desirable; ability to pass background check and drug test.
• Team player capable of working with others or alone; must maintain a high sense of urgency to meet production goals.
• Attentive to detail to monitor material defects, inventory levels, and quality issues.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching and twisting; capable of lifting 25–50 lbs.
• Must maintain regular attendance and reliable transportation; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support production processes through shipping, receiving, palletizing, packaging and inventory monitoring.
• Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists; gather parts and tools.
• Maintain supplies inventory and place orders; track and document shipments.
• Package and load product; label shelves and maintain organized dock/storage areas.
• Communicate with vendors as needed; ensure proper documentation for shipping/inventory.
• Follow safety guidelines and keep a clean, safe work area; use PPE as required.
• Operate in a typical manufacturing environment with overhead cranes and forklifts.
