Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Shipping Dock Worker for the 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:00pm). You will operate the GreyOrange or Jennifer systems, verify titles and quantities, label and scan boxes, and prepare shipments with attention to safety. Full-time with potential for permanent hire after 90 days.

Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.50 per hour with a $2.50 shift differential; overtime applies. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4 months distribution facility experience preferred.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50lbs.
• Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate within the GreyOrange or Jennifer systems
• Maintain accuracy by verifying book titles, quantities, and item conditions
• Label, scan, and sort boxes for shipping
• Follow all safety guidelines - safety shoes required
