Job summary

TE Connectivity’s Global Logistics, Americas unit seeks a Shipper / Receiver I for the 2nd shift (2:00pm–10:30pm) at the Greensboro, NC distribution center. Responsibilities include receiving, put-away, picking, packing and shipping of goods, operating SAP systems, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Lifting up to 50 lbs and hardware handling with forklifts and pallet jacks are required. This is a temp-to-perm role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in high volume distribution centers or logistic industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receiving/put away: Load/unload trucks, sign bills of ladings, receive product into SAP, put product away in correct area.
• Picking: Pick products for customer orders using scanners and pick tickets; perform related duties.
• Packing: Review SAP packing functions, apply labeling, and handle special packaging per customer specs.
• Shipping: Prepare cartons, attach shipment documents, coordinate carrier pickups and load/unload cartons.
