Job summary

Crown Bakeries is seeking a Sanitation Associate to maintain cleanliness and food safety across the Processing facility and equipment. You will perform daily sanitation on all processing lines and support a safe, compliant work environment.

Responsibilities include following GMP/HACCP procedures, maintaining chemical supplies, and ensuring proper PPE usage. The role requires the ability to lift heavy loads, work in a noisy setting, and coordinate with team members during shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must be flexible with schedule, including start times and weekend work.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and work independently.
• Manual and finger dexterity.
• Work in a noisy environment and wear ear protection.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Reach above shoulder height; sitting, bending, twisting, standing, climbing stairs/ladders, pushing/pulling, walking.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness and food safe environment for processing facility and equipment.
• Performs daily sanitation of all processing lines.
• Promotes safe work environment and ensures food safety and pest control.
• Follows GMP and HACCP procedures and uses PPE as required.
• Maintains supplies of cleaning chemicals in compliance with OSHA and FDA regulations.
• Communicates effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
• Attends training sessions and team meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
