Pratt Industries seeks a 2nd Shift Rotary Die Cut Operator to run and fine-tune rotary die cutters on a regular shift schedule, with some Saturdays as needed. The role includes setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending efficiency improvements to operations.

You will perform machine setup and inspections, train junior staff, and participate in cross-training across related equipment. Strong math and reading skills assist in accurate reporting and quality control.

Competenze

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Prefer prior corrugated industry experience.
• Able to read and interpret factory masters.

Mansioni

• Set-up print and die cut sections of die cutters following proper setup techniques.
• Ensure bolts on cutting dies are in place and tightened securely.
• Inspect anilox rolls for damage before and after each run.
• Monitor box quality (loose, liner, warp, size, print).
• Train and assist First Helper and Bundlers with machine duties.
