Pro Resources Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Winder Operator in North Manchester, IN. The role involves winding, setup, changeovers, quality inspection, and paperwork for a full-time position.

Report 15 minutes before shift and stay 15 minutes after for changeovers. Pay rate is $18.83 per hour. Responsibilities include analyzing work orders, operating re-winders, adjusting speeds, inspecting products, and performing routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy in production tasks.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions precisely.
• Must rotate among positions within the production cell to cover tasks.
• Crane training and certification required prior to operating crane equipment.
• Ability to lift approximately 10 lbs routinely and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Overtime availability including before/after shifts and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Analyze work orders and determine production activities.
• Set up and operate re-winding equipment and thread material through the machine.
• Position and secure rolls using sleds and pushers.
• Adjust machine speeds, feeds, controls, cams, and stops.
• Inspect products for proper profile, appearance, defects, and conformance to specifications.
• Make machine adjustments when quality issues are identified.
• Complete production paperwork, including start/stop times, downtime, and raw-material information.
• Perform machine changeovers, startups, routine maintenance, cleanup, and waste removal.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in production meetings and continuous-improvement activities.
