Job summary

New South Express (NSE)- Honda Logistics of North America seeks an On The Job Trainer-Receiving to coach NSE associates in receiving processes, forklift safety, and SOP adherence.

You will lead daily trainee meetings, ensure tools and equipment availability, maintain 5S discipline, complete process evaluations, and sign off on ERGO and PAD-related training to support safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 12 months of service as a full-time NSE associate is required for the trainer role.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide training on receiving processes and safety SOPs.
• Keep detailed records of all training and certifications for each class.
• Conduct daily training meetings (Pre, Mid, Post Shift) with trainees.
• Ensure tools and equipment (scanner, check-sheets, vanning layouts, forklifts) are available.
• Perform daily 5S activities and cover all SOPs during training.
• Complete process evaluations and ensure sign-offs for trainees.
