Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have HS Diploma or GED.
• Basic understanding of quality systems and problem solving tools.
• Computer and data entry skills; Microsoft Outlook knowledge.
• Understand and use the X-Rite Color Management System.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, grasp and reach frequently.
• Willingness to work overtime and rotating shifts, holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA checks on all lines following SOP guidelines.
• Participate in department projects related to form, function, and fit per customer specs.
• Perform instrument verification, calibration, cleaning and maintenance.
• Label material on quality hold with assigned disposition.
• Assist lead Operators in training operators to perform quality checks.
• Define quality defects and provide root cause summaries (8D).
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts.
• Utilize electronic vision system to ensure printed material matches customer proof.
• Place material on quality hold when requested by supervisor or management.
• Comply with safety procedures and policies; work with other departments on projects/validations.
