Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Quality Technician on 2nd shift at our Richmond, VA site. The role involves inspecting products to ensure they meet quality standards, quarantining NC parts, and determining root causes. You will perform FAI verifications, audits, and document results using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Preferred candidates hold an ASQ certification and have 3–5 years of quality technician experience, ideally in power industry. Must be in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Inspect parts/products and document results to ensure quality.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Relocation assistance not available; candidates within 50-mile radius only.

Responsibilities

• Perform part and product inspections and quarantine NC parts.
• Determine root cause of non-conforming parts.
• Verify FAI of all production lines.
• Run controls and process audits as scheduled.
• Report inspections and audits using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Create Quality Alerts and notify operators of issues.
• Investigate non-conforming product and apply problem-solving techniques.
• Support pre-production quality planning and training of staff.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineering in machine capability studies.
• Support Gage Calibration System.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental policies.
