Job summary

ClearBridge Executive Search is hiring a Quality Control Chemist for the 2nd shift in South Carolina. The role focuses on analytical testing, instrument maintenance, and cGMP compliance in a pharmaceutical setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (or Biochemistry/ Biotechnology related field).
• Pharmaceutical industry QC experience is preferred, with proficiency in HPLC and GC.
• Knowledge of cGMPs and quality concepts; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation including HPLC, GC, FTIR, TOC, UV/Vis, with minor troubleshooting.
• Perform routine laboratory analyses: finished product testing, dissolution, stability, raw material, cleaning verification, and in-process testing.
• Document logbooks, calibration records, and environmental monitoring (temperature/humidity).
• Conduct analytical testing on finished products, blend uniformity, and cleaning validation samples.
• Develop, review, and update SOPs for laboratory operations.
• Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with cGMP and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality and compliance.
