Job summary

TRCC Transport, Inc. is hiring a Quality Control Lab Technician for the 2nd shift to perform chemical testing and establish quality control for manufactured products. The role involves titrations, moisture checks, pH, density, viscosity, FTIR/XRF/GC/HPLC/GPC testing, and accurate data logging on site.

The candidate will interact with production staff, need to follow safety protocols, and be prepared to work overtime as needed in a fully on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with chemicals and hazards in a lab setting.
• Ability to read and interpret temperature charts and graphs.
• Must stand and use a lab bench for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical tests including titrations, moisture, pH, density, and viscosity.
• Conduct instrumental tests such as FTIR, XRF, GC & HPLC, and GPC.
• Log samples electronically and maintain proper labeling and documentation.
• Communicate test results to production staff and chemist.
• Maintain lab safety, PPE, and SDS compliance.
• Organize and manage QC lab sample retention areas.
