Job summary

Pilgrim is seeking a QA Inspector Technician – Hot Side in Ottumwa, IA. The role focuses on quality control, line inspections, and adherence to food safety guidelines. You will work with the Quality Control department to ensure product compliance with company specifications and contribute to production objectives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to communicate written and verbally in English.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform line work.
• Physically capable of performing line work and standing for long periods.
• Good attendance record; internal candidates with less than 3 points preferred.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control functions including line inspections and audits.
• Inspect products to ensure compliance with company specifications.
• Ensure all safety guidelines are followed and food safety requirements met.
• Collaborate with management to achieve production objectives.
• Identify issues and support corrective actions as needed.

DEPARTMENT: Quality Control

SALARY CLASS : Non-Exempt

SHIFT: 2 nd Shift – flexible as needed or required start time/end time may vary Saturday work required when scheduled .

Responsibilities :

• Perform various quality control functions including but not limited to line inspection, audits.
• Inspect various product to assure compliance with Company specifications
• Ensure all company safety guidelines are being followed.
• Follow all food safety requirements.
• Work closely with management to achieve production objectives.
