Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking full-time Housekeeping staff in Frankenmuth, Michigan. As part of the team, you will maintain the cleanliness of public areas and guest rooms to the standards set by Bavarian Inn Lodge.

Ideal candidates should have at least one year of housekeeping experience, the ability to work various shifts including weekends, and strong personal hygiene standards. A comprehensive compensation package includes medical benefits, 401k, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in housekeeping or equivalent.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, and kneel for shifts of 8+ hours.
• Ability to lift and push/pull equipment weighing at least 10 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas and guest rooms.
• Perform tasks on daily and monthly work lists.
• Work various shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Job description

Hours:

Full time 37-40 hours per week 5-6 days per week

Shifts:

3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Must be available to work any combination of hours between these periods, weekends, weekdays, and holidays.

Function:

Under the direction of the Executive Housekeeper, Housekeeping Supervisors, and Lead Public Housekeepers, is able to clean and maintain all public areas and guest rooms according to the standards and procedures established by the Bavarian Inn Lodge. Is able to perform all work assigned on daily and monthly work lists. Able to work a variety of shifts which include AM and PM schedules (7:00 a.m. - 1:30 a.m.).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good personal hygiene.
• Minimum 1 year experience at Bavarian Inn Lodge or 1 year Housekeeping experience or the equivalent in another operation.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend and kneel for 8+ hour shifts.
• Ability to push/pull equipment with a 10 lbs. + force.
• Ability to lift 10 lbs.
