Job summary

Delta Personnel Services is seeking a hands-on 2nd Shift Production & Warehouse Supervisor to lead a 2nd shift in our Northern NJ facility. This role combines production and shipping oversight with team leadership, safety, and quality accountability.

You will own shift performance, mentor staff, coordinate staffing, and ensure on-time completion of tasks. The ideal candidate has 5+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
• Proven track record of hitting production/shipping targets and closing out action items.
• Working knowledge of safety standards, quality processes, and basic inventory/production systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills — able to document issues and report clearly.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• High school diploma/GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree a plus.

• Conduct effective shift handoffs with detailed, actionable notes for the next shift manager
• Coach, train, mentor and discipline associates as needed
• Manage shift staffing — attendance, breaks, overtime — and adjust in real time to hit targets

Pay range: $75K to $100K Temp to Hire Position Summary We are seeking a hands-on 2nd Shift Supervisor to lead production and warehouse operations during the evening shift. This role requires someone who does more than understand what needs to happen — they make it happen. The ideal candidate closes the loop on every task, follows up without being asked twice, and can be trusted to run the shift with the same rigor whether or not management is on-site.
