Job summary

Alene Candles is seeking a production associate to operate wax batch production on the 1pm-9pm shift. You will follow batch sheets and standard formulas to prepare materials, monitor quality, and keep accurate production records.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of relevant experience; strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently or with a team, and the stamina to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and follow batch sheets and formulas.
  • Maintain accurate production and inventory records.

Responsibilities

  • Follow batch sheets and standard formulas to identify and measure components.
  • Combine components in tanks to produce and supply wax batches.
  • Maintain accurate records of each drum for fragrance and other components.
  • Review schedules with supervision to meet production targets.
  • Monitor inventory levels and alert supervision of shortages.
  • Maintain equipment and area cleanliness to ensure a safe environment.

Job description

Produces required wax batches in a timely, efficient and accurate manner and maintains accurate production and inventory records.

1pm-9pm Monday-Friday
Role and Responsibilities
  • Required to follow batch sheets and standard formulas to accurately identify and measure amounts and weights of components for each job when required, or use prepared “kit” of materials ready for mixing. Complete all necessary paperwork thoroughly and accurately to meet company and customer SOP’s.
  • Combine components in tanks to produce and supply wax batches for fill
  • Maintain accurate records of each drum to track fragrance and other components
  • Review work schedules and work with Supervision to anticipate and meet production
  • Develop component knowledge to alert Supervision of low inventory levels or potential shortages, and maintain records for proper and accurate inventory control.
  • Maintain the condition of equipment and tools assigned to the area as well as cleanliness and organization of the area to assure a safe working environment.

Education required
