Columbia Forest Products is seeking a Production Team Member for the 2nd shift on a part-time, on-site basis at Newport, VT. You will rotate through multiple duties including machine operation, material handling, quality checks, and material grading to support daily production.

Ideal candidates follow written and verbal instructions precisely, bring strong problem-solving skills, and are committed to safety while working around moving machinery and forklift traffic.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal job instructions with precision.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to provide constructive feedback to improve operations.
• Commitment to safety by using PPE in a fast-paced environment with moving machinery, forklift traffic, noise and temperature changes.

Responsibilities

• Machine operation across a variety of manufacturing equipment.
• Material handling and organization.
• Quality checks to ensure product standards.
• Grading material to meet quality specifications.
• Facility cleanup and safe workspace upkeep.
• Other manufacturing tasks as needed to support production.
