Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group in Muskego, WI seeks a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement. You will supervise production teams, coordinate daily operations, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced setting.

You will mentor and develop staff, manage staffing and scheduling, and coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Materials to meet delivery goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience required.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and quality systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop production employees and team leaders.
• Manage daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
• Monitor staffing, scheduling, attendance, overtime, and workforce planning.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Troubleshoot production, quality, and equipment issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support materials planning, inventory flow, and on-time delivery of products.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, waste reduction, cost savings, and employee engagement.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and support employee development.
• Maintain production records, KPI tracking, training documentation, and workforce data.
• Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Materials, and Operations teams to achieve business objectives.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
