Job summary

WireCo WorldGroup in Kirksville, MO, is hiring a Production Operator to fabricate assemblies and inspect rope lengths per customer specs. You will read blueprints, measure with tape and micrometers, and run presses and stamping equipment in an ISO 9001 environment.

This 2nd shift (2p-midnight, Tue-Fri) offers $20.20/hr, $1.00/hr shift diff, and monthly incentive payments after 90 days. Must be able to stand 10–12 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in temperatures from 40–100+ °F.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Fluent in English; basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to learn to read micrometers and use tape measures.
• Must be able to stand/walk on concrete floors for 10-12 hour shifts.
• Must be able to push/pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Time Entry as part of production workflow.
• Accuracy of product per customer specification.
• Operate presses, stamping machines, and other machines.
• Follow ISO 9001 standards and WireCo policies.
