Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking General Production team members for the 2nd shift in Wichita, KS. You will help operate hand tools, knives, and production machinery to process meat products for consumers.

This role demands reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work on a fast-paced production line. Overtime may be required, and the environment is physically demanding with exposure to cold and warm areas while maintaining safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to stand for long shifts and perform repetitive tasks.
• Able to work in cold (20–40°F) and hot environments.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and use safety PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and machinery to process meat products.
• Support a safe, efficient production line and ensure product quality.
• Follow instructions and complete assigned tasks on schedule.
