Job summary

THE POSITION

2nd Shift Schedule Options:

• 3 pm - 11 pm, M-F
• 4 pm - 12 am M-F

As a Production Operator with Hoosier Racing Tire, you have the opportunity to be hired and train for a variety of different roles! Our roles include:

• Band Builder
• Calendar Operator
• Mixing Operator
• Final Finish Operator
• Press Operator
• Many More!

Specific responsibilities in each role can be discussed in detail during an interview, but general duties include:

• Measuring material length, width, and quality to ensure our product meets customer specifications.
• Read specifications, use hand tools, and gauging devices to monitor current and ongoing product quality.
• Reacting quickly to equipment downtime or other extraordinary condition, and notifying team lead whenever such conditions occur.
• Keeping work areas neat, clean, and orderly in order to maintain a safe work environment.
• Follow standard practices and perform all work necessary to promptly and accurately obtain quality and quantity production.
• Follow all plant Safety and environmental policies.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to follow instructions written in standard English.

• Ability to bend, climb, squat, crawl, reach and twist frequently.
• Ability to lift 20-75 lbs. frequently and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
