Job summary

Astemo, Ltd. Berea Plant in Kentucky seeks a Production Manager who will execute production strategies and tactical plans, collaborating with the leadership team to set priorities and ensure their effective implementation.

This role supports production supervisors and direct team members, serves as a strategic partner to other departments, and exercises independent judgment within established guidelines to drive safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience and 1-3 years leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between department leadership, support staff, and production team members.
• Drive continuous improvement activities including development of standard work procedures and milestones.
• Coordinate efforts to achieve efficiency and departmental KPIs.
• Foster a culture of encouragement and motivation for production team members.
• Enforce safety regulations and local policies.
• Champion problem-solving efforts within the department.
• Responsible for data mining, analysis, and reporting for leadership review and budgeting.
• Oversee delegation of departmental tasks and projects.
• Directly oversee supervisors in the department.
