Job summary

Ferrero USA is seeking a 2nd shift Assistant Production Supervisor for our Somerset, NJ facility to support daily production operations, uphold safety and quality standards, and drive efficiency in a fast-paced co-packing environment.

You will supervise line leads, coordinate changeovers, manage staffing for 100+ associates, and collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Warehousing, and Planning teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, food production, or co-packing operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Understanding of GMPs, food safety, sanitation, and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the Production Supervisor in executing daily production schedules and meet customer requirements.
• Provide direction to line leads within assigned production areas.
• Assist in supervising production operations to ensure compliance with product specifications, GMPs, sanitation procedures, and food safety requirements.
• Coordinate and support product changeovers to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Help determine labor allocations and staffing requirements to support production objectives.
• Create and manage associate break schedules while maintaining operational coverage.
• Monitor line performance, identify operational issues, and escalate concerns as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas; promote an injury-free workplace.
