Job summary

Plexus Corp. in Neenah, WI is seeking a Production Lead Assistant on 2nd shift to support daily manufacturing operations. This role focuses on directing daily production activities, ensuring quality, and training team members.

You will collaborate with supervisors, communicate schedules and metrics, and participate in safety and continuous improvement initiatives. A High School diploma or GED and 1+ year related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Less than one year of related experience is required; one year or more is preferred.
• Basic decision making and problem solving skills.
• Basic supervision and team building skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
• Basic data analysis and presentation skills.
• Ability to sit or stand for the duration of the shift; lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assign work based on daily department needs, ensuring quality products are produced and metrics are met.
• Communicate daily schedules, goals, quality issues/concerns to employees, shifts, and supervisors to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure training to assembly build instructions and compliance with training requirements.
• Lead and participate in safety, cleanliness, and efficiency improvements.
• Contribute to problem solving with innovative solutions for complex issues.
