Position Summary...

Prepares work orders records logs and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures. Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment for example lift trucks pneumatic systems material handling equipment hydraulic equipment dock equipment banana room equipment electronic and electrical equipment according to company policies and procedures. Operates material handling equipment battery equipment moving machinery and other powered equipment. Assists other maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment Troubleshoots basic problems with equipment where the repair is visible or obvious Ensures compliance with company policies procedures and standards of ethics and integrity Uses the Open Door Policy. Complies with company policies procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying these in executing business processes and practices. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies data and resources collaborating with managers coworker's customers and other business partners identifying priorities deadlines and expectations carrying out tasks communicating progress and information determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities and adapting to and learning from change difficulties and feedback

The hourly wage range for this position is $22.40 - $33.60* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: 1 year’s experience repairing/maintaining mechanical or electrical equipment in an industrial or non-industrial setting.

Option 2: 2 years’ vocational training in electrical, electronics, or related area.

Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment within spaces as narrow as 18 inches and at heights of 80-100 feet, with or without an established platform and within the weight requirements specified by equipment manufacturers.
