Job summary

Welch Packaging Group Inc in Indiana is seeking a production worker to support our manufacturing operations. You will follow safety protocols, ensure containers and products meet specifications, and help maintain fast, accurate build rates in a busy plant.

This role emphasizes teamwork, detail orientation, and reliability in daily packaging tasks such as assembling, stacking, wrapping, and labeling. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work 8–10 hour shifts in a loud environment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to work safely adhering to all safety processes and policies.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper safety procedures and processes.
• Ensure the product is built to spec and 100% accurate.
• Maintain the highest level of productivity to ensure 100% on time delivery.
• Maintain housekeeping standards of the plant.
• Work as a team with all facility members.
• Assemble, stack, wrap, stapling, gluing, stickering, and taping boxes.

SUMMARY

Work in a production environment following all safety procedures, quality processes and hitting our targeted build rates.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Follow proper safety procedures and processes
• Responsible for ensuring the product being built is built to spec and 100% accurate
• Responsible for maintaining the highest level of productivity to ensure 100% on time delivery to our customers.
• Responsible for maintaining the housekeeping standards of the plant
• Responsible for working as a team with all team members of the facility.
• Day to day responsibilities may include some or all of the following assembling, stacking, wrapping, stapling, gluing, stickering, and taping boxes.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

• 1+ years in a manufacturing/production environment
• Ability to work safely adhering to all safety processes and policies.
