Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks an experienced machinist to set up and operate a range of power machinery, including punch presses and frame press brakes. You will read blueprints, verify tolerances, and perform frequent adjustments to optimize production.

Responsibilities

Set-up and operate punch presses, gang presses, brakes, shears, and rolling machines for standard and complex work.
Set-up machines and verify accuracy of set-ups by others.
Form materials using power machinery for special profiles with frequent set-ups.
Adjust programs and use Shopgrid and Cincinnati software as needed.
Train operators in changeovers, troubleshooting, and material handling.
