Vishay Dale Electronics in Columbus, NE is seeking a Press Operator for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thurs, 3:00pm-1:30am). You will operate and tend production machines including punch presses, feed systems and related tooling to produce metal parts such as resistors and other components.

Responsibilities include setup, sampling, inspection, material handling, and coordinating with die makers, with overtime as needed. A high school diploma and familiarity with pressroom processes are preferred.

Competenze

• Familiarity with punch presses, pressroom terminology, equipment & processes preferred.
• Must be able to accurately identify different types of raw materials.
• Must be able to compute material and finished product counts using basic math skills and a calculator.

Mansioni

• Operate and tend production machines including punch presses and feed systems to produce parts.
• Run samples at setup completion and ensure inspection per specification.
• Run assigned products and manage manual feeding on RH lines if required.
• Set up stamping lines per specifications and verify raw materials.
• Advise die makers on setup requirements for products being run.
• Load coil stock onto dereeler and feed into dies, ensuring tool care.
• Use machine tools such as lathe, high speed punch press, cut-off saws, and deburring equipment.
