ALMACO is seeking 2nd shift Press Brake Operators to join our Nevada, IA facility. Operators will prepare sheet metal for production, cutting, deburring and bending materials and will set up and run the press brake with a focus on maintaining production schedules.

Ideal candidates read instructions, demonstrate dependability, and adapt quickly to changing priorities. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and hands-on skills.

• Ability to read written job instructions, diagrams, lists, prints, and manuals.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Flexibility to move between tasks quickly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sheet metal for production by cutting, deburring, and bending material.
• Operate the cold saw, horizontal band saw, abrasive saw, shear and laser cutter.
• Set up and operate the press brake.
• Perform routine checks and minor maintenance on the press brake.
• Notify Production Manager if issues arise.
