Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Machinist to produce precision components at the Santa Isabel, PR site. You will interpret drawings, set up and operate grinding, milling, and lathe equipment, using micrometers and calipers to ensure tight tolerances. Relocation is not offered; residency in Puerto Rico is required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent vocational education with 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to information under the program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Read diagrams/drawings with tight tolerances to manufacture parts.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions.
• Perform own setups to achieve high-precision parts.
• Operate grinding, milling and turning machines.
• Perform tool setups and calibrations following procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
