Job summary

Hydro Extrusions is seeking a shift-based operator on the 2nd shift in Mountain Top, PA. The role focuses on health, safety, and environmental responsibilities, adherence to standardized work, and reliable operation of fabrication equipment to meet production needs.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, experience in heavy manufacturing, and ability to read blueprints. A background in quality inspection and working with punch presses, saws, or CNC machines is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Metal working using precision instruments to produce tight tolerance products.
• Must be able to understand basic English instructions and effectively communicate regarding safety, quality, and production requirements.
• Quality inspection experience.
• Experience operating production equipment, punch presses, saws or CNC machines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health, safety, and environmental standards for the position.
• Follow Standardized Work and Work Instructions.
• Identify product defects and communicate with leaders.
• Operate and maintain proper equipment lubrication levels.
• Enter appropriate AS 400 transactions.
• Communicate with Maintenance regarding equipment issues.
• Communicate effectively at shift transitions.
• Operator care and housekeeping standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Efficiently operate fabrication equipment to meet customer demand.
