Job summary

UFP Grandview, LLC is seeking a Machine Operator I to set up and operate production equipment in line with established procedures. You will secure materials, feed the machine, and ensure a clean and organized work area while following safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include completing pre-shift checks, recording production data, inspecting materials and finished goods, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in manufacturing or assembling.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes work area set up.
• Operates and feeds the machine safely and efficiently, and according to established procedures.
• Stacks completed products, may cover, label and band components/finished products as required.
• Keeps work area safe, clean and organized, and ensures equipment is safe to operate.
• Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports problems.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
• Maintains production records as required.
• Checks materials and finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
• Performs duties in line with safety and quality procedures and participates in programs and meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
