Job summary

Smithfield Foods is seeking a Powered Equipment Operator to support our production line and help deliver high-quality food products. You will operate forklifts and other powered equipment, ensuring safe, efficient movement of product throughout the facility.

The role requires good hand-eye coordination, the ability to follow instructions, and flexibility to work the 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM shift from Wednesday to Saturday.

Qualifications

• Experience operating powered equipment and forklifts.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a production team.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, jack lifts, and other powered industrial trucks.
• Maintain safe, efficient production line movements and product flow.
• Meet certification requirements during the qualification period.
• Work overtime as production demands require.
