Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is hiring a Powder Coating Associate for the 2nd shift in Hesston, KS. You will operate electrostatic powder guns, monitor equipment, and ensure parts meet quality standards.

You should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to comply with safety standards. The role offers a competitive pay rate with shift differential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Technical ability to escalate issues and follow standard work as trained.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual electrostatic guns to apply powder to parts (approx. 35%).
• Operate, monitor and maintain equipment including ovens, conveyors and pretreatment systems (approx. 20%).
• Inspect parts for quality and perform liquid touch-ups as needed (approx. 20%).
• Apply/remove plugs and blow off water from pretreatment system (approx. 15%).
• Prepare parts for powder recoat by sanding surfaces (approx. 10%).
