Job summary

Safecor Health is seeking a Production Technician for the 2nd shift in Rockford, IL to package unit-dose medications and support hospital pharmacy operations. You will operate packaging equipment, repackage oral solids, and ensure accurate labeling while maintaining a clean, compliant workplace.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and preferred pharmacy technician certification; experience with packaging equipment and familiarity with PC Windows are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of computer hardware (PC Windows).
• Working knowledge of mechanical packaging equipment.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• - Perform all unit-dose medication packaging and complete daily orders as needed.
• - Maintain supplies needed in workstation to fulfill services.
• - Perform daily preventative maintenance and necessary routine adjustments on the packaging equipment.
• - Generate accurate packaging labels according to requirements regarding verification procedures as specified in our standard operating procedures.
• - Follow standard operating procedures in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and other regulatory standards.
