Job summary

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Inc. (USA) is seeking an Inspection and Packaging Technician I for the 2nd shift (1:30PM-10:00PM). The role involves visually inspecting, labeling and packaging pharmaceutical products in a regulated manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and may possess a Biotechnology certificate or equivalent experience. Responsibilities include maintaining records, complying with cGMPs, and operating labeling and inspection

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Biotechnology certificate preferred or equivalent experience.
• Ability to visually inspect small print/printed labels and liquids/lyophilized products.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing visual inspections, labeling, assembling and packaging of liquids, suspensions, and lyophilized products.
• Clean up labeling and packaging equipment and facility as needed.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures for the job area.
• Maintain manufacturing records and complete required paperwork to comply with FDA regulations.
• Report variances from standard procedures to management.
• Operate semi-automatic inspection machines and label applicators.
