Kaytee (Central Garden & Pet) is currently looking for a 2nd Shift Machine Operator to join our team at Kaytee in Chilton, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and running machines, palletizers, and scales. This position follows a four-day, 10-hour schedule (3 pm to 1 am) from Monday to Thursday, offering a long weekend every week!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Start machines, make adjustments as necessary, and perform troubleshooting.
• Perform efficient machine set-up.
• Maintain communication with mixers, line associates, and during shift change.
• Comply with all safety rules and company policies.
• Train new and existing line personnel and backups.
• Inspect bags for quality seals.
• Complete paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Understand and align with the goals and objectives of the department.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Report any Food Safety issues to authorized personnel for correction.
