Qualifications

  • Effective verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor packaging equipment (fillers, cappers, labelers, cartoners, shrink wrappers) to ensure efficient production.
  • Assist with equipment set-up, changeovers, and test runs for various products and batch sizes.
  • Accurately complete and maintain batch records and other required documentation.
  • Follow SOPs, cGMPs, FDA standards, and safety procedures at all times.
  • Collaborate with production staff to meet quality and production goals.
  • Perform general housekeeping and safety compliance within the packaging area.

Compensation: $17-$19/Hour +$1.50 shift differential

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Hours: Mon-Thu, 3pm - 1am

We are seeking a Packaging Technician (2nd Shift) to support the packaging of pharmaceutical products in a cGMP-regulated environment. This role involves operating packaging equipment, ensuring compliance with batch records and FDA guidelines, and maintaining accurate documentation. The position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with growth potential based on performance and business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor packaging equipment (fillers, cappers, labelers, cartoners, shrink wrappers, etc.) to ensure efficient production.
  • Assist with equipment set-up, changeovers, and test runs for various products and batch sizes.
  • Accurately complete and maintain batch records and other required documentation.
  • Follow SOPs, cGMPs, FDA standards, and safety procedures at all times.
  • Collaborate with production staff to meet quality and production goals.
  • Perform general housekeeping and safety compliance within the packaging area.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous pharma packaging experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow work instructions and safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
