Job summary

Eckart LLC is seeking a 2nd SHIFT OUTBOUND SUPERVISOR to oversee daily warehouse operations, schedule outbound activities, and coordinate picking and loading shifts. You will ensure timely deliveries and adherence to safety standards while leading a team of warehouse staff.

Responsibilities include training, performance coaching, and implementing process improvements. The role requires strong communication and ERP/WMS proficiency, with focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in electrical supply preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain daily work schedules for the 2nd shift.
• Coordinate job activities and tasks of the picking and loading shifts.
• Oversee the nightly routing of in-town deliveries.
• Develop and implement action plans to improve operating results.
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Interact effectively with peers and leadership through ongoing communication.
• Provide input and recommendations to leadership regarding changes to improve the operation.
• Recommend personnel for advancement and termination as appropriate.
• Address warehouse issues and uphold safety standards.
• Lead, plan and facilitate warehouse meetings.
• Train and develop direct reports to maintain productivity.
• Observe and evaluate employees’ performance; provide feedback and conduct reviews.
• Ensure a safe environment and proper ergonomics; maintain equipment.
• Manage direct reports to comply with policies and OSHA standards.

Schedule: 11:00am - 8:00pm

Average Hours: 45 hours per week

Duties and Responsibilities

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Previous supervisory experience, preferred
• Experience in electrical supply, preferred

Physical Requirements

• Frequently work in varying temperatures, hot and cold (including outdoor temperatures)
• Continuous standing; frequently required to sit, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry and walk throughout the warehouse
• Frequently required to lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets and shelves at various heights
