Job summary

Key Personnel is seeking an operator for the 2nd shift in Holland, MI. This temp-to-hire role requires mechanical aptitude and prior machine operation experience.

The job involves inspecting products, packing for shipment, and following supervisor directions. Candidates must be detail‑oriented, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and wear steel-toed or composite boots in a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• Must pass felony background checks (case-by-case).
• GED or Diploma required.
• Steel-toed boots or composite boots required.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections of product and complete inspection reports while operating a machine.
• Follow directions.
• Pack/prep for shipment.
• May be assigned additional duties by cell supervisor (e.g., emptying scrap containers).
• Prioritize safety; the role may involve lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.
• Work in an air-conditioned facility.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform visual and/ or testing quality inspections of product and complete associated inspection reports, as required while operating a machine.
• Follow directions.
• Packing/Prepping for shipment
• Upon request and on occasion, may be assigned additional duties, such as emptying scrap containers, by their cell supervisor.
• Can be greasy!
• continuous lifting up to 50 pounds throughout the entire shift.
• Air conditioned facility!
• Shoes must be slip resistant/puncture resistant hard sole and hard leather upper. No Tennis shoes or composite.
• Must be mechanically inclined and have prior exp. in Machine Operation.

James St Building: All of the metal stamping happens here
East Building: More value add, shipping (A bit cleaner and less loud)

This person may be standing, sitting, bending, twisting and lifting around 35-50 lbs. Visual expectation requires ability to see small marks, dings, burrs, etc.
