Solventum is seeking Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician candidates to join our 2nd shift team in Meriden CT!

We are pleased to announce that Solventum has entered into a definitive agreement to sell our Purification & Filtration business to Thermo Fisher Scientific. This transaction is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2025, subject to customary closing conditions, regulatory approvals, and country-specific requirements. This milestone will enable strategic investments for growth and customer solutions. During this transition, you will work with a dedicated team experiencing this change. Solventum will continue to operate as a unified entity until then, with employment governed by our standard policies.

The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician, you will:

  1. Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve electrical/control systems including drive control components, I/O, PLC devices & logic, field control devices, network systems, and communication.
  2. Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on web handling production equipment, ultrasonic welders, pleaters, pumps, heat exchangers, building HVAC, and utilities.
  3. Document work in maintenance tracking systems and develop/refine standard work procedures.
  4. Perform basic welding, machining, and fabrication tasks using shop equipment, power tools, and measurement instruments.
Your Skills and Expertise

Minimum qualifications include:

  1. High School Diploma / GED or higher (by start date)
  2. Three (3) years of mechanical, electrical, or mechatronic work experience in various environments
  3. Ability to work rotating weekends, overtime, or holidays as needed

Additional helpful qualifications:

  1. Near completion of a two-year technical degree or certificate in an engineering or maintenance-related field
  2. Ability to read electrical/mechanical prints and good documentation skills
  3. Basic understanding of predictive/preventative maintenance and condition monitoring techniques
