Jamco Products Inc., a Myers Industries Company, located in South Beloit, Illinois, is seeking a MIG Welder I to join our manufacturing team. This entry-level role performs MIG welding to assemble metal components according to blueprints and quality standards.
You will read blueprints, prepare materials, set up and operate welding equipment, inspect welds, and maintain logs. Shift is 2:30pm-11:00pm Monday through Friday with mandatory Saturday as needed; compensation is $22.50 per hour plus

The MIG Welder I is responsible for performing MIG welding processes to assemble and manufacture metal products, structures, and components according to specifications and quality standards. This entry-level position requires basic knowledge and skills in MIG welding techniques, the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, and a commitment to safety and precision in all tasks. Jamco Products consists of two manufacturing buildings. Based on the needs of the business, you may be moved between these two buildings, at the discretion of the leadership team.

Ability to perform in a manufacturing environment that may have high noise levels, dust, chemicals, oil,and grease. Ability to work in aseasonalenvironment that may be either hot, cold or humid. T he role may involve working independently or as part of a team, depending on the project requirements
