Job summary

gpac is seeking a 3G MIG & TIG Welder for a 2nd shift on-site. The role involves welding on steel, stainless, and aluminum, reading blueprints, and maintaining quality across diverse fabrication projects in a modern manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of MIG and TIG welding experience and a strong mechanical aptitude. You will collaborate with production and quality teams while maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Must pass a 3G weld test.
• Minimum 3 years MIG welding experience.
• Minimum 3 years TIG welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, Flux-Core, and Stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions
• Measure, mark, and prepare materials for fabrication and assembly
• Utilize precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and specification requirements are met
• Perform fabrication and sheet metal work as required
• Maintain a safe and organized work area
• Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure project success
