Job summary

BioMérieux in Hillsborough, NC, seeks a Material Handler for 2nd shift to support manufacturing and packaging lines. Responsibilities include receiving shipments, picking internal orders, stocking, and shipping with a focus on accuracy and GMP compliance.

Experience with WMS and RF scanners is preferred; DOT, IATA, ISO, FDA knowledge is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required; warehouse experience a plus. Competitive hourly pay with a potential annual bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required or equivalent experience.
• No prior experience required; warehouse and forklift experience preferred.
• Knowledge of WMS and RF scanners preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT, IATA, ISO, FDA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and deliver orders for direct materials used in Manufacturing and Packaging Lines.
• Process Stock Transfer Orders to Distribution Center.
• Move material to storage bins or staging areas with proper equipment following SOPs.
• Ensure GMP compliance in shipping, receiving and warehouse operations.
• Accurately receive goods, verify against shipment records, inspect condition.
• Operate heavy and light material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain flow of materials in manufacturing areas per guidelines.
• Monitor warehouse space and assist with proper utilization.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Perform data entry, cycle counting, and forklift battery maintenance.
• Assess safety and environmental risks per HSE policies.
