Job summary

Velosity Forest Lake is seeking a Material Handler to support our Forest Lake, MN manufacturing facility on 2nd shift. You will prepare and maintain supplies of raw materials, packaging and components for production.

The position is on-site, Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:30pm, with a pay range of $21.01–$28.00 per hour and a 5% quarterly bonus target. Comprehensive benefits include health care, 401(k) with company match, PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• Preferred High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to work legally in the United States.
• Minimum 1 year experience in plastic injection molding preferred.
• Knowledge of forklift, pallet jacks, scales and other shipping equipment; inventory control systems including barcode systems.
• The ability to multitask, communicate professionally with other departments, basic computer skills; strong problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate inventory levels and lot history trees, moves materials per system requirements.
• Prepares and batches materials for production and coordinates with setup techs.
• Maintains material handling equipment and identifies repair needs.
• Designates materials for production runs using BOM and IQMS/WMS.
• Returns material to stock after production and assigns a location in the warehouse.
• Reconciles material usage and communicates shortages to Purchasing.
