Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking dependable Material Handlers for a long-term temporary assignment in Channahon, IL. This 2nd shift runs 2pm–10:30pm, with start 10/5/26 and pay $20.00/hr. The position requires reliable attendance and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

You will perform basic material handling, packing bags into cases, and site cleanup in a fast‑paced environment. The nine‑month assignment may include overtime as operations ramp up.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass a 4‑panel drug test.
• Must pass a 7‑year background check.
• Reliable attendance and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Take bags of product (mulch mix or top soil mix) that are already filled and place them into cardboard cases
• Perform repetitive material handling tasks in a fast‑paced environment
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Assist as needed with cleanup, rework or organization of site.
