Job summary

Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Inc. in Monroe, NJ seeks a Temporary Material Handler for the 2nd shift (4:00pm–12:30am). Pay starts at $18.50 per hour (17.50 base with shift differential) with employee discounts at our stores and cafes.

Responsibilities include palletizing, restocking, loading/unloading, and rotating through material-handler tasks while following safety protocols and meeting production goals. Prior warehouse experience is a plus.

• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates safe work habits at all times.
• Basic written and verbal communication and mathematical skills.
• Prior warehouse experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
• Palletize, stock, and ship products accurately and on time.
• Operate on the warehouse floor with lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Rotate through material handler tasks including packing and loading.
