Job summary

Ultipro in Union, OH is seeking a Material Handler to safely move materials, support production lines, and prepare products for shipment. This hands-on role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and strong forklift experience.

HOURS: Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:00pm, with mandated overtime based on business needs. You will pull materials for orders, operate sit-down forklifts, identify materials by part numbers, count raw materials, and perform kitting as required.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid driver's license with clean record.
  • Certified forklift operator with at least one year of experience.
  • Experience moving heavy materials (1000+ lbs) with a forklift.
  • Able to operate overhead cranes, banders, shrink wrappers, and related tools.
  • Ability to identify materials by part number and count raw materials accurately.
  • Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Pulls stored materials for orders and moves to production or shipping area
  • Experienced Sit-down forklift operator required
  • Experience with moving Sheet metal and large finished goods safely is preferred
  • Able to identify materials using part numbers
  • Accurately counts raw materials
  • Supplies work area with materials
  • Performs kitting responsibilities as required
  • Documents information related to the material handling of goods
  • Issues raw material to jobs and performs location transfers in CSI accurately and timely
  • Accurately counts and tags material prior to material handling
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Ensures clear and clean pathways to and from all outside and inside exits on the production floor daily.
  • Follows safe manufacturing and material handling practices.

Description

The Material Handler plays a key role in our production process by safely moving materials, supporting production lines, and preparing products for shipment. This is a hands-on role requiring accuracy, attention to detail, and strong forklift experience. HOURS: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:00pm. Mandated overtime based on business need.

WHAT YOU’LL DO (Material Handler Responsibilities):

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Valid driver license is required (3 years semi infraction, not revocation)
  • Certified fork truck driving with at least one year of experience
  • Experience operating LP gas driven fork trucks
  • Experience moving at least 1,000 lbs. or more with a fork truck
  • Must possess the ability to operate overhead cranes, bander, shrink wrapper, forklift, tape measures and calipers.
  • Must be able to determine material types and gauges
  • Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Must perform all duties in conjunction with UA and ISO requirements.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and
    occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds with an assist
